March 2010--- The Silicon Valley Workplace Learning Resource Center at Mission College has been working with the Regional Health Occupations Resource Centers (RHORC) and AmEnglish to create a free on-line pronunciation course and tutorial for medical professionals.

The course provides 4 modules that teach several different skills to help learners hear and then use correct stress and intonation in their spoken English. It focuses on key terms and topics found in the medical profession.

“The product has many possible uses for our health care customers and faculty members. It is outstanding. I am really excited for you to see it,” said Marjorie Knowles, Interim Director, Mission College, WpLRC.
